Keyboard Shortcuts

Menu items use the platform's menu modifier: right-Amiga on AmigaOS and MorphOS, Cmd on macOS, Ctrl on Linux and Windows. Below, Mod means whichever of those applies to you.

Shortcut Action
Mod+O Open workspace folder...
Mod+S Save active tab
Mod+E Markdown: Edit
Mod+P Markdown: Preview
Mod+M Markdown: Split
Mod+Q Quit

Edit menu

Shortcut Action
Mod+C Copy
Mod+X Cut
Mod+V Paste
Mod+Z Undo
Mod+Shift+Z Redo
Mod+A Select all
Mod+B Toggle select mode

These six -- copy, cut, paste, undo, redo, save -- are editable in Settings -> Shortcuts if the defaults clash with something else on your system.

In the editor

These are handled by the editor itself, so they are Ctrl on every platform, including AmigaOS:

Shortcut Action
Ctrl+F Open the find bar
Ctrl+G Find next
Ctrl+S Save the buffer
Ctrl+B Toggle select mode (when selection is not Shift-based)
Home / End Line start / line end
Page Up / Page Down Page the view
Shift+Up / Shift+Down Page, when enabled in Settings

How selection works is a setting: hold Shift while moving the caret (the desktop convention), or toggle a select mode with Ctrl+B. Settings -> Shortcuts.

Terminal

Shortcut Action
Ctrl+C Send interrupt to the running child
Ctrl+D Send EOF
Mod+V Paste at the prompt

Panels

Each open app has a button in the footer row; a click toggles it. An app panel also has a title bar with minimise and close buttons. There are no keyboard shortcuts for the panels yet.

Entries that need a workspace

Some menu items stay disabled until a workspace is open, because they act on the open project -- AI Agent -> Chat is one. Open a folder and they enable themselves.
